1 Day Nuno Felting workshop with Jean Gauger
Beginner Friendly Nuno Felting Class
Learn How to make unique journal cover using the nuno felting technique. These are one of my most popular items, great for your personal use or as a treasured gift. You will learn how to fuse wool and silk together to create a removable jacket for your journal. You will also learn hoe to make nuno flowers to decorate the top. I will also show you different ways to close your journal with a felted cord.
Easy to learn, nuno involves felting a small amount of colored merino wool into a pre-existing fabric (usually silk). No felting experience is necessary and the possibilities are endless! There is some minimal sewing involved, you can hand sew or machine sew the choice is yours. This class is a project-oriented class.
There is a material fee and a material list for this class. You will be asked to bring some tools from home.
