Summer Fiber Camp at the Aya Fiber Studio will stretch their imagination and improve their skills. It consists of four, 1 week sessions with a focus on Surface Design. Each week campers will explore a different fiber technique and learn several different processes. In each session we will learn the basics of surface design through printing, dyeing, and sewing. We will learn about shibori, batik, eco printing and other types of resist dyeing. We will print our own fabrics and then use these fabrics to create projects.
