Eco-printing is a process of using plants to dye and print on fiber through contact printing methods. Botanical Printing is the addition of using natural dyes for added color.
During our workshops, participants will explore the alchemy of water, plant materials, heat, and metal and finish the class with beautiful prints on natural fiber fabrics
.In these workshops, we will create samples and experiment with different fibers. We will use natural plant materials gathered around the workshop venue or brought with you from your garden or florist. The workshop is held west of Murphy at the Wagon Master Ranch Resort. This venue is very tranquil, with plenty of botanical materials. There is also lodging available onsite if you wish to stay overnight.
We will play, experiment, and let our inner child run wild during the class!
