Prepare for Your Workshop

Preparing in advance will help you arrive ready to focus on your work and make the most of your time in the studio. The following guidelines will ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Workshop Confirmation & Travel Planning

Workshops at Aya Fiber Studio require a minimum number of participants to run.

Please do not make travel arrangements, reserve accommodations, or pay your remaining class balance until you have received an email confirming that the workshop is officially running.

This confirmation is typically sent once minimum enrollment has been reached.

Because many of our students travel, we also strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your plans in the event of changes or unforeseen circumstances.

For lodging and transportation options, please visit:
Where to Stay

Final Payments

Final payment for your workshop is due 45 days prior to the start date.

Any remaining balances not paid by 30 days prior to the workshop will be considered late and may result in the release of your space.

Timely payment allows the studio to properly plan materials, staffing, and instructor travel.

Travel & Transportation

Aya Fiber Studio is located in Stuart, Florida, and many students fly into nearby airports.

We’ve included recommended lodging options and a trusted local shuttle driver for airport pickup and drop-off on our:
Where to Stay page

Supply Lists & Materials

Each workshop has a specific supply list outlining what to bring and what is provided.

  • Supply lists are available on the website once a workshop is confirmed

  • Some instructors offer optional supply kits for purchase

  • Materials fees (if applicable) are set by the instructor

You are responsible for bringing your required materials unless otherwise noted.

Parking is available directly in front of the studio. We share the lot with neighboring businesses.

Please Park in the first three spaces closest to the road, leaving the spaces nearest the plaza open for shared use.

Additional parking is available in the lot next door.

Lunch & Amenities

You are welcome to bring your own lunch, drinks, and snacks. A refrigerator and microwave are available in the studio.

We are also located two doors down from Anna’s Original Pizza (cash only, closed Mondays), offering pizza, salads, and Italian entrées.

Panera is nearby, and menus are available in the studio. If there is enough interest, group pickup may be arranged.

Studio Etiquette

Aya Fiber Studio is a shared working space. We ask that all participants:

  • Clean and return shared equipment after use

  • Respect the workspace of others

  • Follow instructor guidance for materials and processes

This helps maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
